Epic Birthday Part 2: Sugar Rush!

So folks, if you haven’t heard, we just turned one year old. Yeah, you heard it right, the big uno. Our mommy dearest has been a little overwhelmed this week, so we thought we would go ahead and post about our birthday for her. After all, we ain’t gettin’ any younger!

Even though we didn’t have our party today, Mommy and Daddy wanted to make our birthday special, and apparently in this house that means stuffing us full of sugar until we lapse into comas.  But hey, who’s complaining?  Instead of our usual oatmeal and bananas, Daddy snuck out and got us some donuts for breakfast, complete with chocolate icing and sprinkles.  We have decided that donuts are our new best friends.

Can you believe this thing? And it's mine, all MINE!

Dude, what is this, a giant belly button?

No sis, let me show you how it's done.

Oh.

OOOOH! Now you're talkin'!

Look, Ma, a chocolate goat-stache! High five!

If you're happy and you know it...

Simmer down, sis. It's only breakfast.

Uh huh. I'm bad.

After demolishing our birthday donuts, mom stripped us down to our skivvies for a little nekkid time in the ball pit.  We LOOOVE nekkid time. Happy Birthday to us!

Once the sugar high wore off, Mommy put us down for a nap and got to work on our birthday cupcakes.  Aren’t they beauuuutiful?  She tried a new recipe for Italian meringue to frost the little boogers.  She said it was really easy to make and super fun to decorate with.

Look at the size of that sucker!

After Daddy came home from work, it was time to open some presents.

My new purse. Aren't I stylish?

Wrapping paper is almost as much fun as donuts. I said ALMOST.

As if our day wasn’t exciting enough, after present time we got to dive into our official birthday cupcakes.  We really weren’t sure what we thought of them at first…

…but then we gave them rave reviews!!

And there you have it.  Our birthday in a nutshell.  Hope they are all this fun (and sweet)!  Now, we’ve gotta run. Literally. Mommy’s trying to brush our teeth again.

Twodaloo!
